A new solid axle kit has been long awaited by RS riders looking to improve their times! Lighter than a standard geared differential, it eliminates unnecessary differential operation, resulting in a more stable ride. It is particularly effective on high grip surfaces such as carpet,
providing greater stability on corner exits and reducing spin on acceleration for faster exit speeds. The loss of differential operation puts a strain on the driveline due to the difference between the inside wheels when cornering, but the use of a double-jointed universal in conjunction with a double-jointed universal minimises the loss of power and allows smooth turning. A set with a double-joint universal is also available for purchase.
