Im Laufe der Jahre sind R/C-Crawler hinsichtlich Leistung und Scale Features realistischer geworden. Bis heute hat die Crawler-Hobbyindustrie jedoch keinen leistungsstarken „Daily Driver“ gesehen - was die Branchenjunkies als ein 1:1-Fahrzeug beschreiben, das im Autohaus gekauft werden kann, ein Lastwagen ohne High Lift und große Reifen.
