Dieses Auto ist eine Reproduktion eines legendären Modells aus der F1-Welt. Der Lotus 98T war ein innovatives Auto, das von Gérard Ducarouge und Martin Ogilvie für das Lotus-Team entwickelt wurde. Ayrton Senna und der Schotte Johnny Dumfries fuhren dieses legendäre Auto 1986 bei der Formel-1-Weltmeisterschaft.

Das Monohull-Chassis bestand aus Carbon und Kevlar. Der turbogeladene EF15B-Motor des Renault V6 in Verbindung mit einem Sechsgang-Hewland-Schaltgetriebe war einer der leistungsstärksten und bekanntesten Motoren, die jemals in der Formel 1 eingesetzt wurden. Der 98T war das letzte Lotus-Auto in der Geschichte, das die berühmten Schwarz- und Goldfarben von John trug Spieler. Dieses Auto verkörpert wirklich die F1 der 1980er Jahre und Carisma würdigt ihn und die legendären Fahrer der Zeit.

Dieses Modell basiert auf dem Carisma CRF-1 Wettbewerbsfahrwerk. Dieses Chassis mit Zweiradantrieb wurde letztes Jahr bemerkt, als es die erste Ausgabe der F1-Hallenmeisterschaft in England (BRCA F1) gewann. Die Karosserie "Classic Team Lotus" wird transparent geliefert. Die Aufkleber sind im Kit enthalten (einschließlich der Dekoration von Ayrton Sennas Helm).

• Accepts 1/12th scale centre shock springs.
