PHAT axles are heavier than most axles, a desirable feature for crawlers to maintain a low center of gravity.
In addition to its weight, the AR44 PHAT portal axles are smooth and durable. The gears are made of heavy-duty hardened steel for added durability and strength. The BADASS universal driveshafts are constructed from high-strength alloy steel for maximum durability.
